Mumbai Indians. MI Emirates. MI New York. And the one missing puzzle piece to have the complete MI Family on his cricketing resume, is finally here. MI Cape Town. Yes, it’s official, Kieron Pollard, our legend, is set to join MI CT for the first three games of the SA20. 

Replacing Rashid Khan in that interim, he would be hoping to get the campaign off to a flying start, and set the foundation for what would be his ninth championship title with the MI Family, after five IPLs (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020), two Champions League T20s (2011, 2013) with Mumbai Indians, and the Major League Cricket (2023) with MI New York. 

From the belter at the Wankhede, to the dustbowls at Abu Dhabi, to the fields in the US, to now the pacy Newlands, it’s going to be an absolute treat for everybody as he tonks them into the grass banks under the backdrop of the Table mountain. Bring it on!
