On paper, our last league game is set to have no consequence to our playoff standings. MI Cape Town have already qualified and have confirmed a berth in the top two as well. There’s scope for experimentation. There’s scope to give some of our boys some rest. There’s an opportunity to try out different combinations. We are currently at the top of the table. We know what this means to all of us after a couple of tough seasons. Let’s keep this winning roll going.. 

This game isn’t one of consequence for the Pretoria Capitals either, who’ve been eliminated from this year’s SA20. But they could be desperate to end their campaign on a high. We will be vary. This also marks our last home game of the season. You’ve been a beauty, Newlands, through the highs and lows. We’ve made some amazing memories here. This one’s for you!
