A fearless left-handed batter, the Windies power hitter is that kind of player who can change the game in a matter of an over. He burst onto the world stage by captaining West Indies to their first Under-19 World Cup title in 2015-16 and then earned his name as a powerful finisher. Hetmyer has built a reputation for taking on bowlers with intent, can absorb pressure while disrupting the opposition’s plan and switch gears whenever necessary. The man with the big match temperament, hard hitting shots…is a proven performer across franchise cricket around the globe. MI Cape Town is all set to add some Caribbean flavour in their fiery batting department.
