The Newlands home boy! A quick, skiddy left-arm spinner, and a more than handy batter down the order, George Linde is another one of our multifaceted players. In T20s, he often takes the new ball, and finds a bit of swing with it, keeping it really tight and squeezing in a couple of overs in the powerplay.

2019-20 was his breakthrough season, winning the CSA four-day Cricketer of the Year. He soon made his debut in all three formats, and still remains a key member of the South African limited-overs squad. In conditions and on pitches he’s grown up playing in at Cape Town, expect him to be a real handful.
