It’s simple. With 13 points in our eight games, we simply have to win everything. These two remaining league games aren’t virtual knockouts, they are proper knockouts. We win, we stay afloat, we lose, we might have to go home. 

Here’s the positive side of things: None of our defeats so far have been one-sided. We’ve always been in the contest, right until the very end, fighting tooth and nail to get over the line. Alas .. 

We’ve reached that stage where we have to unleash our fearless brand of cricket. As stated by our captain on multiple occasions, we haven’t even been close to playing at full potential. And this could just be the time when things click, we find momentum, and peak exactly at the right time. Come on boys, let’s get the ball rolling and bring it home! Maybe even bring in a bonus point ;)
