There’s no time to bask in our win over the Royals. The reverse fixture is already here. What that means though is the chance for us to extend our bragging rights over the Western Cape derby! 

It was a clinical game at the Newlands over Paarl Royals, with a sea of blue in the stands as the Newlands Faithful came out in huge numbers and created the perfect atmosphere and were the perfect 12^th man as MI Cape Town romped home in the chase with over three overs to spare. Nothing much should change between then and tomorrow, where although in different conditions, we’d hope to build on the momentum and ride this wave of confidence. 

The Boland Park is a large outfield with big boundaries, and the surface is usually a spin-friendly one. Another factor we need to account for is the change in timings. It’s an early evening game, and the advantage of bowling under lights might not quite be availed. Okay then, the scoreline stands at 3-0. Time for 4-0?
