MI Cape Town announce the signing of Afghanistan opener Sediqullah Atal as a replacement for Ben Stokes for the SA20 2025 season.

Sediqullah plays all formats for Afghanistan, and in the T20 format, has played 46 T20s for his country and in franchise cricket, scoring twelve fifties at a strike of 130 and was part of the 2024 T20 World Cup squad as well.
