Let’s start the countdown to season three. And what better way to do it than with some Auction news. Much awaited, much anticipated, with three months to go until the action kicks off, it’s time to get the ball rolling with the first step. 

The SA20 2025 Auction dates are here. Mark your calendars: 1^st October 2024 at 4:30pm SAST (8:00pm IST). Richard Madley, the renowned auctioneer with his experience and his typical style, will be the one conducting the proceedings. 

“I’m thrilled to be back at the helm of the Betway SA20 Season 3 player auction,” Madley was quoted as saying by sa20.co.za. “I have fond memories of the marathon 10-hour auction we had in the first season, so it’s great to be back in charge of proceedings and to wield my gavel.

“There are some fantastic local and international players who have put their names into this auction, I’m expecting some competitive bidding as the teams finalise their squads.”
