MI Cape Town welcomes Mitchell McClenaghan as the Bowling Coach for the upcoming 2025 season of the SA20. He’s all set to be joined by Kruger van Wyk as the Fielding Coach. 

McClenaghan, a true-blue MI #OneFamily legend, having won four IPL titles with the Mumbai Indians as a player in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020, and part of the Wankhede folklore, makes the move from MI Emirates, where he was part of the title-winning ILT20 2024 campaign as the Bowling Coach. He’s going to love it at Newlands, with a bunch of exciting fast bowlers to work with!

Van Wyk, a former New Zealand Test cricketer and a veteran with 80 T20s under his belt, is a South Africa-born, feisty wicket-keeper batter. He’s also the Fielding Coach for the South Africa men’s team. 

The two are set to join forces with Robin Peterson and Hashim Amla, who continue as the Head Coach and Batting Coach respectively.
